FedEx Driver Arrested for Hit and Run after Fleeing from Police Pursuit

A FedEx driver was arrested on July 30th, 2021, after crashing into another vehicle, leading Fairfield police officers on a hit-and-run pursuit into Cordelia. A witness of the hit and run stated that he observed a FedEx truck driving recklessly down a street when the delivery truck collided with another vehicle. The driver of the FedEx truck then drove away from the scene of the crash and headed westbound on I-80. Vacaville police then notified Fairfield authorities, who located the FedEx van on Travis boulevard before attempting a traffic stop. The driver of the FedEx vehicle continued with disregard to Fairfield authorities and police engaged in pursuit. The FedEx driver then headed towards Cordelia on Green Valley Road. The police eventually pursued him on foot until they apprehended the suspect. The suspect, Jason Robinson, 35 years old, was arrested on hit and run chargers and failure to yield to police.
