Ilona (Manzyuk) Rincon, Attorney
Ilona represents injured workers in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation litigation. She is passionate about ensuring that her clients receive all the benefits they are entitled to when they have suffered a work-related injury. Ilona also values the importance of ensuring that her clients understand what is happening at various stages of their cases.
Ilona was born in Ukraine and is a native speaker of both Ukrainian and Russian. Her passion for helping others through challenging situations stems from her volunteer work with orphan children in Ukraine during college.
Ilona earned her law degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During law school, she interned with the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute in Washington, D.C., where she worked with Members of Congress to reform and improve the foster care system and the adoption process. This experience gave her a unique insight and understanding of policy and legislation. She now uses that passion and insight to advocate for her clients who have been injured in the scope and course of their employment.
Since September 2021, Ilona has been serving as the President of the Sacramento Chapter of the California Applicant Attorneys Association, organizing and arranging speakers for workers’ compensation-related CLE courses. She has also served on the Sacramento County Bar Association – Workers’ Compensation Section board.
Her peers have nominated Ilona as a Northern California Rising Star in the Super Lawyers publication every year since 2019.
Personal Life
After law school, Ilona returned to Sacramento to be close to her family and provide a valuable resource to the community she grew up in. She spends time with her husband and young son when she is not working.
