Jessica A. Gorton, Workers’ Compensation Attorney

About Jessica A. Gorton

Jessica A. Gorton is a highly experienced associate workers’ compensation attorney at Eason & Tambornini, A Law Corporation. Admitted to the California State Bar in January 2020, Jessica brings over 6 years of dedicated practice as a licensed attorney and immersive experience within the California workers’ compensation system. She concentrates her practice on advocating fiercely for injured workers, ensuring they receive comprehensive medical coverage, prompt temporary disability checks, and proper permanent disability adjustments.

Jessica joined Eason & Tambornini in February of 2026, bringing a powerful background in administrative advocacy developed in the North Bay, specifically Santa Rosa in Sonoma County. Her professional path includes invaluable experience handling workers’ compensation defense strategies at prominent institutions like Mullen & Filippi, LLP. This defense-side foundation gave her critical, inside insight into how corporate insurance networks and employer representatives build defense files and attempt to minimize or deny valid industrial claims. After gaining valuable experience in the legal field, she dedicated her practice exclusively to representing injured workers. Prior to joining Eason & Tambornini, she practiced at well-respected workers’ compensation firms, including Meechan, Rosenthal & Karpilow, PC and the Carter Law Center. The experience she gained representing injured employees throughout California continues to benefit her clients today.

A recognized leader in the administrative legal community, Jessica is deeply committed to structural equity for injured workers. She has held major leadership roles in statewide trade groups, previously serving as the Chapter President of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA) Redwood Empire chapter, and currently sitting directly on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Valley CAAA chapter. She pairs a rigorous understanding of medical-legal documentation with a supportive, empathetic approach, helping clients navigate complex, disruptive workplace trauma with absolute transparency and confidence.
